High Sea At Porthleven

I went down to Porthleven harbour today, mission one was to satisfy my Thai-food craving over my birthday lunch, mission two, to take some ‘high-sea’ photographs. Thankfully the storm had passed, but the water was still photogenic, raging and moody. After a delicious chicken massaman curry at Kota Kai with my gorgeous friend Sarah and our daughters, we braved a walk along the harbour wall to breathe in the spiky salt air and to take some photographs. The rain kept coming, then breaking, the cameras kept on coming in and out of our coats, and the remnants of the storm ended up hanging from our drenched hair, but we felt so happy and so alive. What a great way to spend a birthday.
