Storm-Surge at Porthleven

This morning an eight metre swell hit the Cornish coast. About two hours after high-tide I loaded the kids, dog and camera into the car and headed to Porthleven. All the sea-front roads had been closed off by the police for public safety, so I took a high road and got as close as I could. Despite this not being high-tide, the sea was still massive and awe-inspiring. I could hardly stand for the wind. Spine-tingling stuff. I know some of these photographs may seem repetitive but it is impossible for me to choose my favourites. Let’s respect the sea, people!
